Houzz is the leading platform for home renovation and design. Fusion Landscape Design  was chosen by the more than 35 million monthly unique users that make up the Houzz community from among more than one million active home building, renovation and design industry professionals.
 
The Best Of Houzz is awarded annually in two categories: Design and Customer Service. Design award winners’ work was the most popular among the more than 35 million monthly users on Houzz, and includes architecture and interior design photographers whose images were most favoured. Customer Service honors are based on several factors, including the number and quality of client reviews a professional received in 2015.
 
A “Best Of Houzz 2016” badge will appear on winners’ profiles, as a sign of their commitment to excellence. These badges help homeowners identify popular and top-rated home professionals in every metro area on Houzz.

I took this picture earlier this week. It is part of the under planting of a job that was a design build project that we completed in December 2013. So the plants have only been in three months. The growth has been fantastic. What a difference good ground preparation and irrigation can make.

The paved area was designed as a giant chess set. Just waiting for the client to buy the chess pieces.

The two Alcanterea imperialis 'Ajax' at the front door aren't going to get any taller. I thought the one on the left was going to touch the house, but not quite. They are starting to brown off so the plants will only be a distant memory by the beginning of winter. When they come out a large space will be left, but the Ravenea glauca (miniature Magestic palms) that I planted beside them a few years ago are starting to put on some growth, so will go some way to filling the space along with a small replacement Ajax.

Passiflora antioquiensis, commonly known as red banana passionfruit.  Non invasive and beautiful to both eat and look at. I took this photo last week at a clients 100% edible garden that I designed and we planted earlier this year. While putting in the staple crops I also had a bit of fun with some more exotic fruits and spices. I had a good chomp on the marionberries, boysenberries and blackberries while I was there too.

This is a pedestrian entrance that I designed some years ago to complement a home built in the 1860's. The Dublin Bay roses on it are looking wonderful at the moment.
